Biography
Ovasko is a German and Kazakh artist duo, living and working in Kressbronn, Germany. Graduates of the Kunsthochschule in Düsseldorf, they are both painter and photographer.
Their painting work is characterized by a style of art brut, with representations of animals, portraits and tales. His works are often marked by great expressiveness and a strong emotional charge.
As a photographer, Ovasko is also known for his series of photos of straw bales in fields, which capture the rural atmosphere of his surroundings. His photographs are often imbued with a poetic simplicity and a particular sensitivity to light and textures.
As part of an artist couple with her partner, they have worked on several projects together, merging their talents to create collaborative works of art.
