The story of how I was captured by the red maple. I went to the store, and again I saw a red maple, but a different one. It was so sacred in the sun, its yellow leaves among the red ones were like fire. So I went home to get some paint and went back to that maple tree. The weather was changeable, and when I arrived at the maple tree, I was a little upset, because the sun was hidden behind clouds and the leaves no longer glowed with such fire. I think I'll go to the store, maybe the salt will come out of the clouds while I'm shopping. And, lo and behold, the sun came out and I sat down to draw quickly while the sun was shining.

Watercolor

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor.
