A painter but above all a watercolorist, he was fascinated at a very young age by drawing, light, the transparency of colors, and therefore naturally gravitated towards watercolor. From his native Calvados, he will always keep a fascination for the sea and these beaches... Attracted from childhood by the Impressionists then Canaletto and W.J. Turner, he will later be fascinated by the American painters of the Hudson River School such as as T. Cole, F. E. Church representing nature and these wild landscapes. In watercolor, he discovered J.S. Sargent, B.Odin then E. Mosca, H. Trachel... and in a more contemporary way J. Zbukvic, J. Gallizia and especially T.W. Schaller and Dylan Scott Pierce

Artistic journey: In 2006, he met a multi-talented Plastic and Applied Arts teacher who guided and encouraged him Mr Olivier Garcin. In2008, he met and spoke with a talented photographer Bruno Sauerwein. Then in 2013, he wanted to obtain more academic training and therefore took group watercolor lessons at the Ecole d'Arts Plastiques de Biot with Franco < /em>Favaro and in oil with Giuseppe “Pépé” Capello. In 2014, he participated in a group exhibition “Les Tarots” at BIOT where he exhibited an oil portrait. In 2015, he moved towards individual lessons with a master Antibois watercolorist Mr Philippe Gavin. This international level artist will have a fundamental impact on his technique and will even become his 'mentor' over the course of his meetings. At the same time, he has never stopped studying, learning, admiring renowned watercolorists but also keen to share like Thierry de Marichalar and/or looking for openings that move him to like those of Martine Jolit whom he met in 2014 and whose talent he also admires. In September 2016, during an "easel" day he met Marcel Boos, member and president of the Association of Painters of Cros de Cagnes and member of the Academy of Graphic Arts...de Nice which invited him to come and join its Cros association... In 2017, he exhibited collectively in Pégomas then came Cannes, Cagnes sur Mer, etc... in August of the same year came the first solo exhibitions then came the demonstrations and /or one-off workshops in St Blaise, in Pégomas

Becomes a Member of IWS-France in August 2019, a branch of the very prestigious "International Watercolor Society". In September 2019, he was selected with 5 other watercolorists to represent IWS France at the 2nd Kosovo Biennale.. In July 2020, he was selected with 11 other watercolorists from IWS France at the International Watercolor Exhibition in Albi of IWS Art et Santé
