得意忘形郑凯作品展 Boastful Elation Cheung Hoi Solo Exhibition
No. 64 Shamian Street (沙面大街64号）
11月3日至11月18日，由Art64艺术空间主办的“得意忘形郑凯作品展”在广州Art64艺术空间举行。
郑凯先生是美籍著名画家、美国华人艺术家协会主席、多国元首顾问。1942年生于香港，受艺术基础训练于香港，先后师从艺术大师丁衍庸、冯康侯，郭炘良习水墨画、书法、抽象画。1978年移居美国，现居美国旧金山。他创建了“集一美术学院”， 以现代设计意念结合中国传统美学，建立了一套新的设计课程系统，是中国现代设计的启蒙人之一。70年代后期，在北京、广州等地开设现代设计课程，在中国大陆产生了巨大的影响。1998年获美国政府艺术成就奖。2005年在北京人民大会堂获“世界十大杰出华人”。
除了从事艺术教育之外，郑凯的艺术创作一直没有间断。他研究“易经”，从中国的哲学高度上进行探索。传统的具象绘画，难以完美地表达郑凯艺术创作的信息，于是他从“洛书”的一白、二黑、三碧、四绿、五黄、六白、七褐、八白、九紫中得到启示，以中国的传统色彩美学作为作品构思、布局的依托，形成活泼、灿烂，艳而不俗，雅而不乱，气韵生动的新的风格。

Kejian Wei
1957 Born in Beijing
1976 Enrolled in the Army, served for 3 years in Inner Mongolia
1980 Worked in the Guangzhou Gallery
1981 Studied in the Department of Oil Painting in Arts Academy
1984 Studied in the Normal Department in the Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy
1986 Taught in the Tibet University
1988 Backed to Guangzhou, began to focus on personal works
