Biography
Paige Martin , b. June 25, 1966, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She obtained her BFA with concentration in painting at University of South Carolina in Columbia. She lived in the Netherlands and studied at many artisan workshops and at the Atelier Alupi in Paris.
“I am a very intense, passionate and expressive artist, painting how the subject makes me feel, communicating and capturing emotional reactions through brilliant color and vigorous symmetry. On the other hand, I am also very patient and meticulous, taking my time with my paintings, working and reworking them, applying layer after layer of paint, in addition to glazing the surface numerous times. As a result, the painting’s surface is left with a rich and profound texture, gorgeous in its own right, autonomous of any images or colors involved.

Paige Harre

Design Philosophy : Abstract Expressionist
Expression of pure emotion, desire, and intention.
Paige Harre, is a Louisianna native with strong Cajun ties. Her previous studies were in Louisiana and Hawaii. Since 2006 until present, she is traveling throughout Europe and studying in various Parisian ateliers.
“I am a very passionate and expressive artist and only paint my perception of subject makes me feel. After applying multiple layers of paint and glazes, there's a rich and profound textured surface, autonomous of any images or colors involved. This is my only design goal... Producing fine quality expressive paintings."
