Oil on linen board, inspired by an old church and museum outside of Zaragoza, Spain. The Pope designated 2013 as the Year of Faith.
Ano de la Fe (Year of Faith) was hung in many of the churches we visited.
I was inspired to paint this Faith Banner because I find it a welcome contrast to the daily news of persecution of Christians in Syria and Egypt.
Original has wide plain air gold frame.
Giclees will be available, and can be the same size or 1/2 the size, unframed.
