My inspiration was that in my country (Poland) the people there have problems with tolerance and this is the reason why I added the Pride flag. The shape of this body illustrates that the body isn't perfect and thats the point that im trying to get across. The vines show that something natural is growing & it add a calm presence to the painting.[...]
My inspiration was that in my country (Poland) the people there have problems with tolerance and this is the reason why I added the Pride flag. The shape of this body illustrates that the body isn't perfect and thats the point that im trying to get across. I hope that the viewers who see this painting will feel proud of them selves for who they are, free and peace in their minds. I choose this style because this is what best suits the image that im trying to get across and oil is what I thought would make it work.
