Ocean wave (2021) Painting by Nídia Ferreira Borges

I was born in the city of Lisbon, in Portugal. Since I was a kid, I like crafts and painting. I took a Physiotherapy course and worked 7 years in this area and then for family reasons I took a postgraduate degree in Hotel Management, in which I still work. Two years ago I had a health problem and to help me recover I started to study how to paint on acrylic. Painting helps me to focus on a world apart where there is only our imagination and where we can transmit our emotions through each brushstroke.
