I painted this work in 2010 and it represents a girl with a long coat, an old pink scarf and a hat; she is standing still, waiting with a red rosebud in her hands. Who knows what happened to her ... she is thoughtful ... BUT as in all my works, the conclusions are drawn by those who look at them! I made the work with the oil color technique on board, I use oil color in glazing or I overlay many very thin layers of suitably diluted color to create the effects I want. The work is signed on the back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity for non-EU shipping.You must wait for authorization from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and this could lead to a delay of a few days.

Nicoletta Bagatti is a contemporary Italian artist. Bagatti's process for creating work has evolved significantly over the past 20 years, yet his method of operation has never altered. She crafts each element of her artwork, beginning with the support's construction, using an ancient technique known as oil painting. In order to convey her intended message, she emphasizes the elements of the painting that are necessary, leaving the others unfinished to allow viewers to assign their own interpretations. Bagatti enjoys working on themes, even ones that are extremely different, in which she invests all of herself in order to entirely stimulate both her own and the observer's imagination.
Nicoletta Bagatti was born in 1968, in Parma, Italy. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Italy.
