Nicolas Sorel is a confirmed artist. His photography addresses the themes of nature (animals, landscapes, etc.). In his figurative paintings we will find themes from his childhood, first of all the city, destroyed during the Second World War and then masterfully rebuilt. The more intimate abstract painting allows him to explore what is happening within him and to bring out images, materials, compositions, experiences.
Addressing the themes of war, nature and reconstruction in a singular way, his work is distinguished by a new and visionary light.
Nicolas Sorel lives and works in Switzerland in Saint-Aubin. He has a BTS degree in design obtained in Paris. He began his professional activity in interior architecture, then in 2013 he decided to devote himself full-time to painting and creation.
