Nekoda Singer was born in Novosibirsk (Russia) in 1960. He studied in the Institute of the Theatre, Music and Cinematography in Leningrad and worked as stage designer. In 1988 he came to Israel and became a member of the Artists’ Union. In 1991 he published with Gali-Dana Singer “A Manifesto of Neo-Eclecticism”. His works can be found in private collections in Israel, USA, Canada, Australia, Holland, Austria,Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Latvia, Georgia and Russia.
Nekoda is also a writer, a translator and a journalist. He writes both in Hebrew and in Russian. Member of The General Writer’s Union of Israel from 1996. He is the author of the novell “Boarding Cards”. Together with Gali-Dana Singer he edits the bilingual Hebrew-Russian literary magazine “Dvoyetochie-Nekudataim”.
