In the USSR there was a cult of sports. The Olympic Games-80 in Moscow became one of the most vivid childhood experiences. True, I saw them only in the news on television and radio. In real life, all our yard games were held near the concrete wall. These walls were everywhere: around schools, stadiums, hospitals, factories, construction sites, and of course, secret facilities. These walls are still in every city throughout the former USSR.
Series: Back in the U.S.S.R.
At work I use the highest quality pigments. They do not change colour or fade. Finishing varnish. Matt no glare varnish so looks good under direct artificial light.
Painting is signed on front and back and dated by the artist as well as accompanied a Certificate of Authenticity.

I live in Prague — it is an ancient and beautiful city, where inspiration finds you just walking along the streets.
I have a small studio in the attic, with tiled red roofs seen from the windows. In the winter, I see smoke ascend from the chimneys as many houses are still heated with fireplaces. Thanks to the arrangement of the windows in the ceiling, there is a beautiful natural light.
Often I make quick sketches on the Subway or Tram. I like to watch other people's family photos. An old movie, a tune on the radio (and I always listen to music when I work), a conversation I overheard, an episode on the street. Sometimes it's enough to see an anything from childhood, and it triggers a memory, which asks to be put on a canvas.
Important for me: : movement, flight or jump, rotation. Perhaps this is the sculptor in me — I try to show "hidden" dynamics inside the static figure. When naming my pieces I try to hint at my perception of the plot, without limiting the viewer's imagination.
I am a professional artist (Saratov Bogolyubov Art College bachelor's degree in sculpture) I am a participant of exhibitions in Russia and Czech Republic: Mánes Gallery in Prague/ International Watercolour Festival
Artworks are in private collections all over the world: United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe.
I hope you enjoy my work, thank you for your attention!
