AMANECER EN LAS ISLAS GRIEGAS Painting by Mayte Ayuso (Matete)

Hello everyone, my name is Maria Teresa but I always use Mayte, which is what the family calls me.
I am retired, my job was quite stressful, I liked it a lot, I was the chief accountant of a Mutual Fund, mainly Iberia staff, we feared the possibility of early retirement at fifty-eight, and I requested it, I do not understand how there are people who get depressed when they retire.

I was very clear about everything I planned to do, paint, go to the pool every day, do theater, sing, and be part of the Health Group of the Madrid Assembly to defend our Public Health.

I was in painting class for two years, I love watercolor but since our teacher didn't like it very much I ended up erasing it.

In addition to practically always having a selection of my paintings in the small showroom in the store where I bought the material, I have had three exhibitions at the beginning of the year. The first was in a cafeteria in Artium, there I sold ten paintings, the exhibition lasted a month, then in another place called Tierra Tragame on Avda Donostiarra and the third and last for the moment in Vergüenza Ajena on Calle Galilleo.

A few months ago I also decided to try selling online, since according to my husband I shouldn't paint anymore because he doesn't know where to put my pictures anymore. of course I never plan to stop painting. When I paint I forget everything and I concentrate in such a way that it is as if I were temporarily inside the painting, I am especially passionate about the sea.
