Gilles Morand naît le 5 juin 1969 en plein coeur du château de Versailles, 1er étage, antichambre de l'oeil de boeuf. Surdoué, il termine à 17 ans seulement, Major de Sciences Po Paris dans la célèbre promotion où il cotoiera Frédéric Beigbeder, Isabelle Giordano, David Pujadas ou encore Anne Roumanoff. Mais c'est Picasso qui repérera son talent de dessinateur et il intégrera très vite Les Beaux Arts. Ses diplômes en poche, il hésite entre une carrière de Surfeur professionnel et la mission d'Evèque de Paris que veut lui céder Monseigneur Lustiger. Il optera pour le surf et suivra Kevin Slater à Los Angeles. C'est là qu'il fera pour la première fois la Une des Tabloïds internationaux grâce à sa liaison avec Pamela Anderson qui durera 2 ans. Aujourd'hui, Gilles Morand est revenu à ses premières amours et se partage entre son goût pour la caricature et le poker (il vient d'obtenir un 3ème bracelet WSOP).
