Nathalie Montel is a contemporary French painter. Her journey began at the Ateliers de Font Blanche school in Nîmes, where she immersed herself in the realms of painting, sculpture, and jewelry creation. Fueled by determination and passion, Nathalie ventured to Paris to obtain a degree in plastic arts from the esteemed Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University.
Balancing her time between personal artistic endeavors and the noble task of teaching drawing and painting, Nathalie established her workshop in Anduze, nestled in the Southern Cévennes. It is within this creative sanctuary that her imaginative expressions come to life.
In the dichotomy of color and drawing often pitted against each other in the art world, Nathalie Montel takes a harmonious approach. Her paintings seamlessly reconcile the vivid allure of color with the precise lines of drawing, both coexisting in a dance of harmonies, materials, graphics, hatching, and lively lines.
