Elke Zaksek Art, collage artist and photographer, lives and works in Duisburg, Germany. His artistic work explores themes of the Anthropocene, an era characterized by humanity's dominant influence on the planet. Through her works, Elke Zaksek Art highlights the devastating consequences of human activity on the environment, such as air and water pollution, global warming, overfishing and loss of biodiversity.
Elke Zaksek Art mainly uses paper collages to express her artistic vision. His collages explore the dynamics between man and nature, highlighting the tensions and imbalances that result from the excessive exploitation of natural resources.
Alongside her collages, Elke Zaksek Art also creates black and white photography, capturing portraits and animal images. His photographic work highlights the beauty and fragility of life on Earth, while highlighting the environmental challenges we face.
In recent years, Elke Zaksek Art has participated in several exhibitions and art events across Duisburg and beyond, including exhibitions at the Cubus Kunsthalle and the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf. In 2022, she won the second public prize at the DA!Art Award at the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf, thus affirming her place in the world of contemporary art.
