Il a débuté comme photographe avec Pierre Pérouse, lui-même assistant de Guy Bourdin. Tout en continuant la photographie, il a poursuivi comme affichiste de cinéma pour les plus grands : Jean-Luc Godard, Carlos Sauras, Bertrand Tavernier, Éric Rohmer, James Ivory, etc...
Michel Berberian, a multidisciplinary artist born in 1949, began his artistic career as a photographer alongside Pierre Pérouse in the 1960s. Since then, his passion for photography has never wavered, becoming a constant in his life and in his job.
Subsequently, Michel turned to cinema posters, where he left his mark by collaborating with renowned directors such as Jean-Luc Godard, Carlos Saura, Bertrand Tavernier, Éric Rohmer, James Ivory, among others. others. His talent as a poster artist has helped to highlight the films of these filmmakers, capturing the essence of their works through impactful and evocative visuals.
Drawing on his experience and creativity, Michel Berberian then evolved in the field of advertising, where he served as Creative Director within renowned agencies. This period was marked by his expertise in visual design and his innovative approach in creating memorable advertising campaigns.
