Eva Vaculíková

Czech painter Eva Vaculíková is known for her expresionist style so faved my some, and misunderstood by others. Her work is valued mainly for unconventional technique, where she does not see the point in realistic three dimensionally looking images with perfect perspective and clear lines. Rather than that, she aims on the viewers emotions and inner understanding - triggered by light, symblism, and composition. Each painting of hers means strong questioning of her inner emotions, she trives to interpret her visions and feelings, she does not aim to rewrite the simple reality seen by our eyes. Eva Vaculíková is an active painter since 1975, she is activelly exibiting since 1985 in collective as well as individual exibitions around Czech Republic.
