Been born in Taiwan, Republic of China, had its first contact with the art to the nine years of age painting in sumiê, one based eastern technique in the ideogramas. The Fleeting World

The world in continuous process of transformation, in perpetual movement, everything in interdependence, co-existence, individual and collective simultaneously, influenced and influencing in chaotic order and orderly chaos, macro, micro, multidimensional and seamless transition, living, dieing, consuming and reproducing.
In the meantime, while I was producing this works, an idea and an image was brewing, that of dragons, specifically within the Buddhist context that it symbolizes the awakened mind, a Dragon mind. It has been intermittently appeared in paintings I have been doing throughout the years; when I left the subject behind, it still pronounced itself even in the abstract pieces, abstract dragons! It fully emerged a few months ago when I decided to add something to some old paintings I had and the dragon finally came into full view. They glide and soar, suggested or manifested, elusive and ephemeral metaphoric beasts that dwell and revel in the fleeting world.

O Mundo Efêmero

O mundo e proçesso contínuo de transformação, em perpétuo movimento, tudo em interdependênçia, co-existência, indivíduo e coletivo simultâneamente, influênçiado e influênçiando, em caótica ordem e ordenado caos, macro, micro, multidimensional e transitório, nasçendo, consumindo, se reproduzindo e morrendo,.
Enquanto isso, trabalhando nessa série, um idéia e uma imagem estavam fermentando em mim: Dragões. Espeíficamente dentro do contexto budista onde o dragão simboliza a iluminação. Os Dragões vem apareçendo esporadicamente nas minhas pinturas há alguns anos, eu eventualmete deixei-os para trás, me dedicando exclusivamente a abstração, mas assim mesmo o dragão permeava as imagens abstratas, inconscientemente. Finalmente o dragão tomou forma numa ocasião reçente quando eu estava sem telas para pintar e usei telas antigas.
Os dragões vivem, flutuam, voam, mergulham, em forma, símbolo ou abstração, são criaturas metafóricas do mundo efêmero
