Barbara Bonnet (babslight)

As a child, I missed almost all my paintings. A clumsiness and my paper ended up brown. Painting tended to annoy me. When I was offered charcoals and pastels, everything seemed simpler to me, more fluid. I was finally getting some results!!

But you don't build a career on pastels alone, you have to paint.

It's hard to go from pure pigment from pastel to color. painting.Finished apply the color with the fingers as much to tell you that I felt sad, without artistic future.

When during an evening in nature I discover a huge black canvas painted with fluorescent. Gandalf's big eyes and there I had a shock. That night I sensed that I could reach "something thing" with neon.

Brushes in hand, I discover a new path every day. that's why I've been painting a lot of landscapes for some time. It's to attach myself to reality because in truth I think that fluorescent color exists in reality.

The fluorescent is bioluminescence fish, flowers, corals... use it.

The sky is fluorescent blue, a sunset is extremely fluorescent.
