“Melanie, Renaux is a contemporary, fine artist. Living in a small village in the stunning Lincolnshire countryside. Her paintings are often characterized by tenebrism creating a narrative through the momentary qualities of light and colour, with inspiration for her work flowing from her love of wildlife and the colours of nature. She endeavor's to communicate an emotional connection with her natural surroundings through the medium of oil paint.

“I try to better myself as an artist each day by capturing the details and colours found in nature that have always fascinated me. I try to archive a degree of realism in my painting, but my work doesn’t fall into the category of ‘Photorealism. I try to obtain realism through the illusion of detail.”
