Reflet du ciel sur l'eau dans l'avant port de Dieppe, depuis le quai Henri IV, vers le Pollet. Un voilier au premier plan, les mats des autres voiliers suggérent leur présence, des chalutiers le long du quai en face. Les façades des maisons qui se reflètent dans l'eau.
Quand j'étais enfant, cet avant port était était un lieu d'échange, de transit entre la France et l'Angleterre. Le ferry arrivait là et tournait sur place pour repartir. La gare maritime permettait aux voyageurs de rejoindre l'Angleterre depuis toutes gares de l'Europe continentale à l'Angleterre.
Maintenant, la gare maritime a libéré le quai Henri IV, le ferry a migré sur une zone plus fonctionnelle du port et l'avant port est devenu un port de plaisance, près duquel il fait bon se promener.
