I am an self-taught artist. I have been on my artmajeur site since 2014. We are in 2023, I have made all these paintings that I offer to you during my free time and this since January 2014 to date. I am now retired since July 1, 2022. I would like people who see my works and would like to acquire them to contact me by artmajeur, I will answer all their questions, I can send you photos additional. I put a lot of heart and energy to get there. Painting as I do requires many hours of work. These are beautiful canvases, which have been painted in oils with medium respecting the fat on lean, the drying times and varnished several coats. (Artists Association, United States)i start by drawing with a brush using a mixture of cobalt blue and burnt sienna diluted with turpentine or petroleum spirit. Then for my 1st layer, I put 10% sennelier medium 90% petrol. For my 2nd coat, 20% medium and 80% petrol. For my 3rd coat, 30% medium and 70% petrol. The complexion obtained is satiny. If I dilute it too much it's matte, if I dilute it too much it's too shiny. Satin is beautiful and pleasant to look at. When you look at my canvas the colors change depending on the light. But even when it's dark, the light emanating from the canvas is clear, neither too much nor too little. For 10 years, I haven't had any canvas that has cracked because I respect drying times and fat over lean. Oil is a superior medium, it allows an unequaled longevity of the painting. But for the artist, it is quite inconvenient due to the smells and the harmfulness of solvents and mediums. I do this to make the customer as happy as possible. Artmajeur is a quality platform, but seeing my paintings sitting on your sofa, you will see the lights changing throughout the day, you will be addicted to pleasure and happiness. Hello, I am explaining my artistic approach to you. I work on portrait or gestaecker excellence linen canvases. High end. My extra fine oils are from Lefranc and Bourgeois. I have a hundred tubes, practically the whole range. I work with Da Vinci brushes which are of very good quality. For the medium, I use 2 mediums from Sennelier, the Turner medium and the universal medium that I dilute with turpentine or petroleum spirit. I work on 3 canvases at the same time, to respect drying times and fat on lean. The final varnishes are applied to the canvases after 2 years of drying. These are reversible lefranc and bourgeois brand varnishes
