Esfera 3 (2000) Sculpture by Mario Morasan

He was born in October 1954, in Concepción del Uruguay, province of Entre Ríos, Argentine Republic.
He has been exhibiting since 1985, individually and in groups, with exhibitions in several Argentine provinces, R.O del Uruguay, Chile and Brazil. To date (03/01/2011) he has carried out 15 individual exhibitions and 45 group and collective exhibitions. He has participated in meetings and symposiums of sculptors, 6 national and 3 international.
Activities, prizes and rooms.
1985: First individual exhibition, in the hall of the "Municipal Auditorium" of Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos.
1991: He works as a professor of Sculpture, in the Faculty of Plastic Arts "Cesáreo Bernaldo de Quirós", in the city of Concordia, Entre Ríos.
He makes the bust of "Eva Perón", together with Nicolás Passarella, located in the "Departmental Council of the Justicialista Party", Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos.
1992: Mural "Poverty Station" at the "International Expo 208", at the "Culture and Education" Stand of the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay, E. R.
1993: The essay "Public Sculpture - Physiognomy and Urban Aesthetic Integration" begins.
1994: He works as a professor of Sculpture, in the Faculty of Plastic Arts "Cesáreo Bernaldo de Quirós", in Concordia, Entre Ríos.
1995: Presentation in the "Workshop 1" of the "Urban Development Plan of Concepción del Uruguay", in the "Urban Image" panel, of the essay: "Public Sculpture - Physiognomy and Urban Aesthetic Integration".
He obtained the 1st Prize for Sculpture at the "XXXII Annual Salon of Plastic Artists of Entre Ríos", Paraná, Entre Ríos.
1996: First Mention in the "Regional Contest for the Draft Memorial Monument to Dr. José Benjamín Zubiaur", together with Arch. Guillermo Minatta, Concepción del Uruguay, E. R.
1997: Two welded iron murals, “North” and “South” (3.50 X 2.40m each, inaugurated in 1998) are placed in the Rectorate of the “National University of Entre Ríos” (UNER).
1998: Obtained the 1st Prize for Sculpture at the "XXXV Annual Hall of Plastic Artists of Entre Ríos", he is also selected in the "ceramic section" in this same hall.
He obtained the 1st Prize in Sculpture and the Grand Prize of the "II International of the Coast.", (Argentine Republic / Oriental Republic of Uruguay), Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos.
Selected in the “LXXV Annual National Salon of Santa Fe”.
Selected in the “LXXXVII National Salon of Plastic Arts”.
1999: Directs an open sculpture workshop at the "Arts Teachers with Visual Language Orientation" of the "Instituto Dra. Carolina Tobar García".
Obtained the “Comisión Técnica Mixta de Salto Grande” award at the “III Internacional de la Costa”, (República Argentina / República Oriental del Uruguay), Paysandú, R. O. U.
