Born in 1996 in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, Marie-Camille has known for a long time that she will devote her life to art. Encouraged by her parents, she then went first to a Design and Applied Arts Baccalaureate, which she obtained in 2015, then experimented with different forms of artistic expression during her stay at the Ateliers de Sèvres in 2016. She thus discovered the photography and video, but what really animates her is the hybrid creation: in 2018, she launched her first collection of “sculpture clothing”. With simple lids of aluminum soda cans, collected with patience, she crafts dresses and bodysuits by hand, inspired by the couturier Paco Rabanne. It was during this same year that the “Paco” dress was born, which has won three awards at trade fairs, notably the Salon d'Automne in Paris.

In 2019, Marie-Camille expands her catalog with small accessories, such as bags, and begins an apprenticeship training at Christian Dior Couture, at the Maroquinerie after-sales service. Rather than creating, she repairs branded items sent by customers around the world and at the same time refines her technique. At the same time, she asserts her own style and exhibits her creations for the first time at exhibitions in galleries and salons.

Always, in her work, whether through dresses or tote-bags, Marie-Camille claims through her “Recycle, transform, assemble” the use of harmless everyday materials, often invisible and very quickly consumed and thrown away. : beer caps, can lids and magazines then become works of art.
