J'ai appelé cette toile "générosité" car en Cévennes, la châtaigne a longtemps été l'alimentation principale, surtout en altitude.
Ce châtaigner a vraisemblablement eu un début de vie en solitaire et probablement vécu des moments difficiles ...
Ses branches majestueuses et son tronc sculpté m'ont particulièrement donnée l'envie de le "peindre"

Originally from Pays de Loire, born in 1958, I live in the southern Cévennes, northwest of Nîmes (France, Occitanie, Gard), near Anduze and its bamboo grove . Saint Jean du Gard is a commune in the Cévennes National Parkwhere the Cévennes Valleys Museum opened in the last silk spinning mill closed in France in 1965 ( Red House). My workshop, located in the old silkworm farm (room which housed the cultivation of silkworms) of a Mas Cévenol is open all year round by appointment. I will present my world to you with pleasure!
