This lithographic print (a limited edition signed by the artist), reproducing an original 2008 canvas, consists mainly of oval shapes intersected by linear elements. The artists seeks to give the objects depicted a dynamic equilibrium, in search of original lines of force in colour schemes marked by great tension, dominated by shades of blue. To this end he uses an extensive colour palette intended to symbolise an island at once sunny and rainy. The work depicts a distant memory of idyllic places, interwoven with myth - Azur.
This piece was recently cited in the anthology of contemporaneous Portuguese painters as one of amamede’s key works.

The artist's litographic printas are available at the Albuquerque e Lima Art Gallery, in the catalogue and on LCD for viewing at the company’s registered offices by those interested in photography

Nesta litografia (série limitada assinada pelo autor), que é a reprodução de uma tela orginal de 2008, preponderam ovais interceptadas por elementos lineares. O autor pretende conferir aos objectos figurados um equilibrio dinâmico na busca de linhas de força originais, em cromatismos de grande tensão onde preponderam os azuis. Para tal usa uma paleta cromática ampla que pretende simbolizar uma ilha solarenga e chuvosa. Pinta-se a memória longínqua de lugares idílicos sempre cruzados de mito - Azur.
