Главной задачей своего творчества я вижу исследование пространства — как пространства самого холста, ограниченного подрамником, так и пространства, произведением создаваемого, и выходящего за пределы высоты и ширины формата.
Разнообразие способов, с помощью которых можно создать иллюзию “сдерживаемого” холстом пространства изображения, в действительности распространяющегося за его пределы, чрезвычайно велико, и мои работы в различных вариациях предстают как логичными, четкими и геометричными, так и хаотичными, абстрактными и бесформенными.
Для меня важно, чтобы пространство моих работ распространялось не только в плоскости холста, но и в его глубину или, наоборот, на поверхность, стремилось вовне — и провоцировало зрителя дополнить до целого тот его фрагмент, который представлен холстом.
Идея движения чрезвычайно важна для создания основания, на котором зритель может исследовать представленное работой пространство, каждая работа — отдельный элемент, который ведет себя независимо в создаваемом им самим пространстве, и обуславливается исключительно восприятием зрителя.
Я стремлюсь открыть множество вариаций понимания пространства моих работ: какой из используемых цветов или элементов на самом деле является “пустотой”, а какой — активной, действующей в этом вакууме силой?; куда направлена эта сила, и до каких границ распространяется пространство?; где именно свойства этих составляющих сменяются? — эти вопросы определяют мое творчество.

I believe that the main purpose of my art is the exploration of space — both the space of the canvas, which is bound by the underframe, and the space, which is created by the piece, and exceeds the length and width of the format.
There is an extremely vast variety of means, with which an illusion of a “constrained” space of the canvas, that actually extends beyond its limits, can be created. And my works in various forms appear as logical, precise and geometrical, or chaotic, abstract and formless.
It is important to me that the space of my works extends not only in the plane of the canvas, but also into its depth, or onto its surface and out — and provokes the viewer to create the whole, a fragment of which is represented by the piece.
The notion of movement is very important to create a basis, upon which the viewer can explore the space represented by the piece, each work is an individual element, that behaves independently within the space it creates, and is conditioned solely by the perception of the viewer.
I strive to open many variations of understanding the space of my works: which of the colours or elements used is the “void” and which is the agent, active force within it?; to where this force is directed to?; where exactly do the attributes of these components change? — these questions determine my work.
