This painting gives rise to a series of works called "Interpretation." In it, I will show my vision of the great
personalities and culture figures known to the whole of mankind.
The first in the series is the great Vincent van Gogh, as a man
who, despite the colossal difficulties of life, could find light
in the deepest Darkness.

Maksim Krapht is a contemporary, emerging visual artist from Russia. In his work, he explores the subject of oblivion by destroying the image of an object. The heart of artist visual language is ephemerality, as a way to show the remoteness and immateriality of the depicted. Krapht images are unreal, they are rather memories that fade over time. Another important aspect of his work is balance, as a philosophy and a way of thinking, as a combination of abstraction and realism, as a naive desire to gain control.
Maksim Krapht was born in 1995, in Russia.
