Maka Kvartskhava (stillwhite as white associates for her with some mistic surroundings )was born in Tbilisi - capital of Georgia.

Before starting Painting she was writing short stories, assays, which she used to call "footprints of her inner life and memories". Then came time when inspirations took her at the edge of Art and inner opportunity knocked from inside, so she decided to build a door and to take her first steps in colorful world of Art.

So Artist's assays and stories became expressed in drawings and paintings and still she calls her paintings a kind of short stories about her; emotions that surrounds and that are inspired by inner and outer world of life.

"Artist - with the inevitable influences of the creative movements, that she develops with her own style."

She Graduated from the State University. Bachelor and Master of International law and relations; and duringfew years of working in this field she was interested in creating graphic works, mostly 3D art and then in oil paintings. So art had become for her not only the object of creating something interesting, impressive and new, but the way of life itself.

Her paintings reflect frozen moments of reality, instants of longing and loneliness.In some of the works she looks into the way in which the imaginary of a world is constructed.

One of the first oil paintings was successfully sold in Great Britain Contemporary art auction which gave her huge inspiration to create more interesting artworks.So, Her works are sold in Great Britain Contemporary art Auctions as well as in the Europe and the United States in independent galleries and privately, while developing the style and technique that she has today.

Works mostly in oil;

Maka is mostly interested in her own imagination and subconscious reHections. She uses neither photography nor news imaginary for inspiration, “she is many”.. “she paints everything from inside, from herthoughts, imagination and memory” – as she admits.

The artist works on different projects, she has invitations for Participation in the exhibitions and art fairs throughout UK (Aberdeen, Cambridge, London) USA and Europe.Reproductions of Her artworks are printed and shown for Great Britain TV shows and Films.

The Artist cannot imagine her creativity without charity. So Spiritual and material support for socially vulnerable people is one of the main aspect of her life.
