What made you approach art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)
I liked to paint from an early age, but I couldn't paint what I really see. When I discovered photography, I realized that this was the right thing to open the door to the world of art. I fell in love with photography
What is your artistic journey, techniques and subjects you have experimented with to date?
My artistic journey began after I bought a digital camera. I was fascinated by working with the camera. I have tried perhaps all genres and gained so much experience that I apply to this day.
What are 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?
I focus mainly on minimalist composition. I use light and shadows for interesting structures with a combination of long exposure times. That gives my slides a drama. My photos are only black and white.
Where does your inspiration come from?
The inspiration often comes from nature, where I like to go.
What is the intent of your art? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?
My intention is to give the viewer my point of view and thought. There is usually only one main element in my photos. I like the free space around me and this is also captured in my pictures.
What is the process of creation of your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technique, inspiration from art classics or other)?
Some of my photos were created spontaneously and some were thought out in advance. For some photos, I waited for suitable conditions for several years.
What techniques do you prefer? If yes, can you explain it?
I use long exposure times to blur moving objects (clouds, water...). I often take pictures with close and far subjects in the backlight of one photo and that is why I use focus bracketing and exposure bracketing.
Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with?If yes, Why?
I mainly use 1: 1 and 4: 3 aspect ratios. This format best suits the composition I use.
Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for shows or exhibitions? If so, what do you gain from it?
Not yet.
How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your figure as an artist in the future?
I have a few ideas that I would like to express. I also want to focus a little more on architecture photography.
What is the topic, style, or technique of your latest artistic production?
I have always loved nature and that's why my theme is primarily nature and landscape.
Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?
This year, my photos are exhibited in many countries. It's a great opportunity to show viewers my work as a wall print.
If you could invite a famous artist (dead or living) to dinner, who would it be? How would you propose him/her to spend the evening?
I would invite Leonardo da Vinci to dinner. We would talk about the art and inventions that have influenced today's times.
