Alain Bouillot is an artist who gives a second life to forgotten, discarded elements. He denounces junk food, the invasion of waste and warns of the consequences on the environment!

A teenage dream, not realized by parental decision and succeeded later after several years in the relationship, communications and marketing sector. Four years at the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts have reinforced this desire to create, to express, to share, to move, to bring as many people as possible in my artistic wake!

What are the 3 things that make you different from other artists?

Giving a second life to forgotten, discarded elements. Denounce junk food, the invasion of waste. Alert of the consequences on the environment!

Where does your inspiration come from?

Interested during a jog by a pile of scrap metal of all kinds on which a ray of sunlight had dazzled me.

Tell us about the conception of your works, do you have a long preparatory work or is it quite spontaneous?

Preparatory when it comes to working on the environment! Spontaneous when it comes to engravings for example !!

What do you want to show through your work?

Mainly to warn about the harmful effects of pollution!

In your work do you use techniques or materials that are out of the ordinary?

Lots of salvaged items (irons, cardboard, sand, filings, glues, wood, etc.)

Yes, an exhibition for the Caudéran lions club (for humanitarian purposes)

Guernica. One of Picasso's works that inspired work on awareness, interpretation, memory, denunciation of man-made atrocities!

If you could invite a famous artist for dinner (dead or alive), which one would you choose? Why ?

Picasso, after him difficult to be original !!
