Jerson Saladin (Le Prisma) is a self-taught artist. He is an avid reader about classical arts, song writer, nature lover, web designer and a family man. He is a man who has logical approach to any projects and problems. Jerson starts drawing figures since his childhood. As what his mother often told, he used to draw faces of men and women on the sand since his childhood where the family lives near the shore where he spent his youngster years. In his early age, he used to wake up by dawn and sneak from his room to seashore to witness the sunrise that he love to do. He acquainted himself with paintings through local artists willing to share what they can, working as an assistant along with friends who are also aspiring artists without pay and received a meager commission from the paintings he retouched. Obviously, internet had helped him a lot of techniques in oil paintings. In high school a teacher offered him an opportunity to do mural arts in school and painting maintenance for school buildings for four years to avail extra advantages in CAT(Citizen Army Training) trainings and some school services.

But after high school out of peer pressure having the idea that there is no money in paintings, he relinquished arts while looking to the local artists' standard of living, he stopped painting. During college he's busy of other things not related to arts. He also experienced denial in animation skill development training scholarship. Yet, if arts is really in your heart and runs to your blood, you will eventually meet the skill somewhere later in life. And, that is what actually happened two years ago, yes not so long ago, he found himself again immersed to oil paints, brushes, canvas, pallet knives and greasy rags, but felt at home doing it.

At the start he's back to painting just to manage and minimize stress due to a job that requires night shift and it was leisure on weekend to enjoy the company of easel and greasy tools. But it appears that art lovers want to hang his paintings in their wall. He said, "After I'm done with my first canvas for my child for how many years now, I felt I met myself again. I really enjoy painting no matter what, if it is a hobby or way of earning a living." Certainly that is what also other artist out there feels.
