Helena Nogueira , was born in 1954 Alagoa - Alto Alentejo - Portugal, and since he was a child he likes to draw. Because he did not have the opportunity to attend the Superior School of Fine Arts, he attended the painting school of Professor Rui Dias in Coruche and did two intensive courses in contemporary art at CAMJAP - Gulbenkian directed by Hilda Frias. Helena Nogueira is self-taught. At the invitation of some official entities has developed some workshops of drawing and painting. He dedicated a large part of his life to promoting the art of other artists in Coruche and at Café Tadeia he was responsible for the First Coruche International Collective Exhibition featuring a private collection of Francisco Simões with works by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, Arpad Szenes, Artur Bual, Malangata , Melopo and others. Only from the 90's does helena nogueira participate with her work in collective exhibitions: Palácio D.Manuel-Evora, Order of Médicos Lisbon, Gallery Junta Freguesia Estoril, Justice Campus - Lisbon, Municipal Gallery of Coruche, Museum of Photography -Elvas , Gallery of temporary exhibitions - Museum Tapestries Portalegre and Others. Individual exhibition -Bern. Switzerland.
