In 2012 Leendert decided to turn events and became a creative artist student (autodidact). Being influenced by the digital era, he insists on using the digital landscape merely as a way to improve his drawings, paintings, and installations. All of his work has an analog basis but often enriched by different digital techniques.

Leendert has a fascination for the internet. Since 1995 he is online and in his professional career as a consultant he has over 20 years of experience, advising publishers, brands and media experts on internet marketing. In 2008 he became strategy director at the worlds first global social media creative agency, responsible for large global brands. After a rigorous learning period, he became a Full-Time contemporary artist in 2015. Original Work and Limited Editions are available on request.
