This pastel painting was done from my photo of the Bayville Bridge one week after Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast of New England. I took the photo from my brother-in-law's back yard. It was a beautiful view that day... but, they admitted not noticing as they still had no water or power yet. The Bayville Bridge still stood, but the road after the bridge which connects Bayville to Oyster Bay is still out as of June 8th, 2013. They hope to open it by July 4th.

It now is beautifully framed with a dark wood and a gold liner on the inside of the frame and with protective, non-reflective glass.
