Alunni, a painter and sculptor, was inspired to become an artist when she realized she could express herself better through color than via any other medium. She incorporates a variety of materials into her sculptures, including paper, plastic, porcelain, and resin, in order to achieve a luminosity. Alunni lets brilliant color drive her in her loose abstract paintings, allowing herself to be guided by chance while fully believing that nothing is truly random.
