For many years a graphic designer and even more years an artist experimenting with painting, sculpture, mosaic and photography. The recent advances in computer technology have resulted in the combination of these artistic media through the infinitely versatile medium of digital art, from digital photography through to artwork created entirely on computer. This technological innovation, it seems, turned out to be the breakthrough I was waiting for - ideally suited to the art I was striving to create.

A life-long love of art, from palaeolithic cave painting to present day but with a special interest in the disturbing beauty of the images created in ancient Mexico and Central America. The Aztecs and the Maya - their ancestors and contemporaries the Toltecs, Zapotecs, Mixtecs and Olmecs and many far older cultures. The images I create are a personal interpretation of this ancient art.

My love of art has taken me across Europe and to Mexico many times. I am currently living and working in the region of south Lancashire called Worthington near the village of Standish, where I have been for several years. It's a largely rural area despite it's location in the industrial northwest of England approximately midway between Liverpool and Manchester. This rural, or at least semi-rural environment continues to fascinate me with its changing seasonal faces and so is a constant subject for other aspects of my art.
