"The painting Star is born is about fatherhood. When giving birth and raising a son in particular, many fathers imagine that one day in the future the child will follow in their father's footsteps. Some, especially the self-righteous ones, who talk to themselves about how successful and perfect they are, how they are stars (although it is often just the opposite with these), even consider it completely self-evident and automatic. I am a star, my son must be a star too!
Such fathers should wake up from their misguided illusions of molding the child in their own image. Every child is unique and should follow their own path. He can shine in life even without being a star..."
