I was prompted to write this picture by an interesting story that happened in the summer of 2018. During a visit to my relatives living in the village. They gave me a family heirloom - a samovar of the 18th century, which has been kept in the family for generations. This amusing event gave me the idea to use this samovar to capture on canvas the most striking features of the Russian village, reflecting the traditions and cultural characteristics of local residents.
