Bitter flavor of flowers seems to be felt through the artwork. Artist did not place a bouquet in a crystal vase with a bizarre pattern — for this project she used an ordinary glass jar, which can be found in every kitchen. This emphasizes that a lilac-may still life does not require fancy decorations. This spring bouquet will decorate any crockery. Domestic atmosphere is also transmitted by cups and the tea kettle. As if everyone has chosen his favorite cup for morning tea. They’re all from different sets, but it does not prevent them complementing each other perfectly. The artist spends a lot of time in the nature, in the most picturesque parts of Ukraine. This painting is an excellent example of impressionism, capturing essence of one moment. Moment later someone may pour tea on a white tablecloth. This is a transfusion of mood, nature, all the details thanks to the skillfully selecting and playing with colors. Looking at this still life, you can hear the rustle of leaves, feel the tickle of the first sun rays. Immediately you recognize artist’s style — a game of shadows, blur patterns on the cup. And all this together creates a wonderful still life. Painter managed to convey the mood and tranquility, in which you immediately want to be immersed.
