All of the abstract images in this Gallery were original images inspired by my study of the Alexander Calder Sculpture, Two Disks. They are an amalgam of dozens and in some cases hundreds of images from the Calder that were imagined and reimagined, crafted in a myriad of ways and added to other similarly created images also inspired by the Calder.

This layered digital photographic construction was the basis for The Draftswoman's Portal and subsequent constructions that were portfolios submitted for a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and a Sony World Photography Award.
I won the Sony in the Professional Creative category.
