Kimberly ARING, artiste américaine, vit en France depuis 2012.
Titulaire d'un bachelor (maîtrise) en art d'atelier et en histoire de l'art de l'Université de Caroline du Sud à Aiken. Elle a obtenu son Master à la Lander University (SC) et a suivi de nombreux autres cours liés aux beaux-arts à la Furman University (SC) et au Savannah College of Art and Design (GA).

Kimberly a régulièrement exposé dans des lieux publiques et de nombreuses galeries depuis 1996 - aux États-Unis et en France, ainsi qu'aux Pays-Bas. Ses œuvres figurent dans de nombreuses collections privées aux États-Unis, ainsi qu'en France, en Allemagne, en Russie et au Brésil.

Elle a démontré son attachement à son métier en poursuivant son développement artistique et ses études au travers de nombreux voyages en Italie, en France, en Grèce, en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas, au Luxembourg, en Belgique et aux États-Unis. En 2006, Kimberly a également été «artiste en résidence» pour l’échange international professionnel de cinq semaines organisé par le Rotary de Normandie, en France.

Kimberly Aring GUILLERMO est une artiste essentiellement figurative qui capture ses sujets dans un «environnement quotidien» et reproduit minutieusement les moments les plus émouvants. Pour elle, c'est la lumière et la couleur qui expriment la forme, créant une émotion et un intérêt inlassable.

Son travail s'inscrit dans le même esprit que d'autres peintres de la "scène américaine" de la première moitié du XXe siècle, comme Grant Wood et Charles Sheeler.

Cette artiste, Kimberly Aring, est avant tout un peintre de la lumière et de l'humeur, à l'instar d'Edward HOPPER, avec qui elle partage également un certain sens du mystère et de la solitude, mais d'une manière plus dynamique et contemporaine.
