I am always inspired by everything around me and everywhere I go: countryside, urban landscapes, people and especially the world heritage of Halong Bay.
When the vegetation covered on the cliffs is rising up, the pure sprouts vigorously pop out of the tree. The rows of trees and mountains intersperse together, creating large lakes as huge mirrors reflecting shimmer. The rugged, rough mountains unexpectedly become soft, and delicate as thousands of pearls, which are full of color, mixed in the infinite and quite space. Spring has arrived on Halong Bay.
To me, Ha Long is always the best source of endless nutrition and inspiration. I want to be a part of it and accompany it on my own artistic path.

Bui The Khanh is a contemporary Vietnamese painter, known for his captivating semi-abstract artworks that breathe life into the landscapes of his homeland, with a particular focus on the enchanting Ha Long Bay. With a keen eye for the beauty surrounding him, Bui The Khanh draws inspiration from diverse sources, be it the tranquility of the countryside, the bustling urban landscape, or the rich heritage encapsulated in the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay.

In his artistic exploration, Bui The Khanh employs a vibrant color palette, infusing his paintings with a lively energy that mirrors the spirit of the locales he depicts. His semi-abstract themes serve as a visual ode to the people and cultural richness of Ha Long Bay. The artist is not bound by a singular medium, occasionally delving into mixed media, including print, oil, and acrylic. This experimentation adds an element of mystery to his artistic journey, creating a dynamic interplay of form and expression.

Notable among his exhibitions are the "Vietnam Fine Arts Exhibition 2020" and "The Memory" at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi. His participation in exhibitions like "Autumn Sunshine," "The Return of Spring," and "Young Painters from South – East – Asia" further cements his position in the contemporary art scene.
