Issu d'un milieu artistique et originaire de Bourgogne, après avoir vécu plusieurs années à Toulouse, Barcelone et Shanghaï, Kaoliang évolue désormais dans le quartier créatif de Montparnasse et le village Pernety à Paris.

Artiste autodidacte et fortement influencé par la culture urbaine et le graffiti qu'il a exercé dès ses jeunes années, Kaoliang utilise désormais comme principal moyen d'expression la peinture acrylique sur toile. 

Son principal domaine d'étude est le portrait noir et blanc qu'il s'amuse à détourner, déstructurer au moyen d'une floraison de couleurs et de motifs : artistes, sportifs, personnages connus ou inconnus de la pop culture.

Coming from an artistic background and originating from Burgundy, after having lived several years in Toulouse, Barcelona and Shanghai, Kaoliang now evolves in the creative district of Montparnasse and the village Pernety in Paris.

Self-taught artist and strongly influenced by the urban culture and graffiti that he practiced since his youth, Kaoliang now uses as his main means of expression acrylic paint on canvas.

His main field of study is the black and white portrait that he enjoys diverting, destructuring by means of a flowering of colors and motifs: artists, sportsmen, known or unknown characters of the pop culture.
