Abdelkader KAMAL est un peintre calligraphe marocain contemporain né à EL JADIDA en 1970..
C'est un artiste autodidacte qui à fait de la calligraphie arabe sa grande passion et préoccupation depuis son enfance .
La calligraphie arabe moderne est un art qui utilise les qualités plastiques et visuelles de la lettres arabe telle que souplesse et élégance à côté de la couleur , du rythme, contrast, lumiére , ombre et du geste ..un mot ou une partie même d'une lettre suffise parfois pour exprimer un sentiment ou décrire un fait...
C'est une autre vision de la calligraphie arabe loin de la typographie et dont l'expression picturale l'emporte sur le lisible..
Enfin , pour moi ça reste une aventure fantastique où il y'à du nouveau et du suspens à chaque commencement d'une nouvelle oeuvre ...
Là où lettre arabe fusionne harmonieusement avec couleurs et traits pour donner des poèmes à voir et non à lire!
