This work is part of the "Elles" series. Made in 2019. Mixed technique: Acrylic, Ink, Resin on wooden support. The edges are painted black and stained for optimal protection. My artistic approach: “Elles”, this series of works represents muses, inspirations, encounters, experiences, which inspire, torment, make people think and help to create. The work of opposites and dualities represented by monochrome and color, figurative and abstract, creates unity. The staging of this unique and doubled profile sensuously moves the viewer. This intimacy is as real as between photography and painting. These two mediums, which have always been the engines of his inspiration, are here linked and frozen to each other. Each element finds its place and brings meaning to its opposite, giving birth to harmony. The perpetual movement between yin and yang represents the balance of life and the artistic work is no exception to this process. ___ This artwork is part of the series "Elles". Realized in 2019. My artistic approach: "Elles", this series of works represents the muses, inspirations and encounters as well as the experiences which motivated, tormented, stimulated thoughts in people, and helped to create. The work of opposites and dualities depicted by monochrome and color, figurative and abstract, are creating unity. The staging of this unique and doubled profile plays with sensuality to move its viewer. This intimacy is as real as the one that links photography to painting. These two mediums, which have always been the driving sources of her inspiration, are here bound and frozen together. Each element finds its place and brings meaning to its opposite, giving birth to harmony. The perpetual movement between yin and yang represents the balance of life, and artwork does not escape this process.

French born in 1989 in Bordeaux, J.E. has been a Professional Photographer for 10 years, mastering various pictorial techniques to combine them with her photographic work.

"A shift occurred when I chose to work with film and moved from conceiving bodies and faces to their abstraction, playing with chiaroscuro. As if the vagueness and the accidents inherent in looking at me had led me to take a less precise look at others.
Their presence are better felt and the material of bodies is apprehended with gentleness and emotion."

The material that she creates allows her to obtain more lively photographs, and to hide or suggest the soul presence beyond the bodies.

In 2018, after years of research, she began to transfer on canvas the inspirations that have nourished her.
Mixing photography and painting, a metamorphosis took place on the pristine white empty space.

"As photography freezes an instant and retains what will very soon become a memory, resin freezes the material to preserve the artwork in time, making it unique and everlasting. »
