Originally from the Canary Islands, very young, Juan was attracted by the magical expression of the language of drawing. Self-taught, he expresses his emotions and his sensitivity by representing everything he perceives. The difficulties of life push him to emigrate to Belgium, where he becomes a minor for three years. These ordeals forged him the character of a lion. Work, effort and tenacity led him to cross paths with Salvador DALI, in Brussels, in front of a painting gallery. His personality attracts the attention of the Master who gives him his telephone number.
Juan leaves the Belgian mines for Montmartre. After seeing Dali again, the latter will show him around Paris. At an invitation from the Master, He creates a canvas, a cape on the shoulders and wearing a black hat. He throws eggs filled with paint on a canvas. These projections will be the outline of the creation. A brush attached to the end of a foil that a friend had given him, Juan gives birth to a work sweating with emotion, emerging from nothingness. Touched by this creative ingenuity as well as by the important qualities of Juan, Dali with his sword, will name him Knight and make him his spiritual son and his godson. They will never leave each other.
Juan Ramirez will inherit the nickname "d'Artagnan of painting" or "Don Quixote of painting". Recommended by Dali, he goes to New York and will be received by Andy WARHOL who will host him. The galleries of the world welcome him and Juan Ramirez will be received by many Heads of State and personalities, whom he will portray.
