“Jean-Patrick Magnoac made a great name for himself by participating in several public buildings such as the Toulouse bus station, the Isle Jourdain fountain, the human rights terraces in Mauvezin, the Statuary of Samatan.

The entire work of Jean-Patrick Magnoac reflects a quest towards spirituality which he expresses both in the delicate and sensual forms of his works and in the use of material. The stone, the wood, the noble materials that he transforms are his words, his sentences to illustrate a spiritual and formal approach which is in the image of man, body and spirit.

Jean-Patrick Magnoac has often worked on the face of the human figure. From a block of cedar whose veins he uses wonderfully, his scissors bring out improbable “centauresses”, strong and graceful, forms in gestation, pieces with a charm that is both strange and soothing.
With stone he offers us heads with powerful features but also faces and busts whose smoothness, grace, the complex and happy play of shadows and lights, fascinate in the way of sacred statues dedicated to some forgotten cult. ..

In 2005 the artist created a unique artistic concept of monumental, painted and transparent frames, which take up the themes of his sculptures. Crossed by light, they flood the space around them and float in space. They are a breathing of matter, they oxygenate our mind, air our vision of Art with the internal heat of our emotions.
