Josefa Sousa (nome artístico) nasceu em Aveiro em 1970.
Licenciou-se em Gestão de Marketing em 2006, no Instituto Português de Administração de Marketing – IPAM de Aveiro.
Em 2012 iniciou Artes plásticas participando em diversos workshops de técnicas de pintura.
Desde 2014 expõe suas Obras em vários pontos do Distrito:
2014 - Primeira Exposição num Restaurante “Recomendado” ;
2015 - Expôs no Holmes Place de Aveiro;
No IPAM – Instituto Português de Administração de Marketing de Aveiro;
Na Exposição Colectiva Primavera-Verão 2015 organizada pela AveiroArte na Galeria Municipal Morgados da Pedricosa ;
Na Exposição Colectiva das Termas da Curia – Anadia, tema “Aguas” - organização Galerista do Porto;
2017 – Início à escultura onde expôs a sua primeira escultura no Museu Soares dos Reis no Porto.
Participa em todas as Exposições organizadas pela Associação AveiroArte, da qual é membro de Assembleia Geral e do Gabinete de Comunicação, e em exposições colectivas organizadas pela AAAGP-Portugal na Figueira da Foz.
Participou no evento Entr’Artes 2017e 2018 realizado pela Câmara Municipal de Oliveira de Azeméis.
Representada na Exposição colectiva na Kasario Lunar em Aveiro.
Exposição Individual de Pintura na Galeria de Artes da Câmara Municipal de Oliveira do Bairro patente até dia 30 de Novembro de 2017.

Em 2018 - Participação Exposição Colectiva "Doze Apóstolas" Palacete dos Viscondes de Balsemão, Porto;

Pintura ao vivo em Rio Tinto - Gondomar pela Organização Gond'Artes;

Participação Exposição "100 Artistas" no Pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar;

Exposição Colectiva com colega na Galeria Quadras Soltas, Miguel Bombarda, Porto e no Museu de Vouzela;

Participou em diversas Exposições Colectivas organizadas pelas Associação dos Artistas da Bairrada, da qual é associada, em Museu do Vinho da Bairrada, Anadia, Biblioteca Municipal de Anadia e Biblioteca de Albergaria-a-Velha, Galeria C.M.Oliveira do Bairro.
